The dynamically positioned semisubmersible Deep Drill 7500 is designed particularly for deep water operations in harsh environments. The semisubmersible is primarily characterised by its four inclined centre columns, and the absence of any trusses passing through the air/water (ice) interface.
Deep Drill 7500 is equipped with drilling facilities for 11,500 metres drilling depth operations in water depths down to 3,000 metres. Such work will be carried out without the deployment of anchors.
The Deep Drill 7500 is designed to carry a deck load of 7,500 tonnes. The deck load carrying capacity and the considerable fuel oil and bunkers storage allow the vessel to be operated in waters remote from shore base facilities with irregular and low frequency supply boat service.
The design has been developed to satisfy the Class Notation: DNV +1A1 Column Stabilised Drilling Unit, with the additional notations: ICE-L, HELDK, CRANE, DYNPOS-AUTRO, E0, F-AM. DRILL (N).
GG4-MSV - Lightweight Semisubmersible DP Class 3 Multifunction Service VesselThe GG4-MSV DP Class 3 semisubmersible is an advanced, compact and low cost well intervention, subsea construction and accommodation unit. Unique structural and hydrodynamic design gives the unit a record low fuel consumption associated with dynamic position keeping in harsh environmental areas.
The vessel is designed with global structural and layout features which allow quick re-configuration to suit a variety of contractual assignments, using the GG4’s own 200 t crane. The vessel may be rearranged from a “350 persons – 8 lifeboats – telescopic gangway” accommodation vessel to a subsea construction and well intervention unit with 134 persons, 4 lifeboats, and a central Tower or Derrick structure.
Its class notation makes it compliant with the latest (2005) regulatory requirements, also for “live well operations”. The design has been Main Scantling Approved by Det Norske Veritas, and has the Class Notation: DNV +1A1 Column Stabilized Well Intervention Unit - II with additional notations: HELDK, CRANE, DYNPOS AUTRO, E0, WELL INTERVENTION UNIT (N), ACCOMMODATION (N).
GG4-A - Lightweight Semisubmersible DP Class 3 Accommodation VesselThe GG4-A DP Class 3 semisubmersible is an advanced, compact and low cost Accommodation Unit with some features incorporated to prepare the vessel for possible other services in the future.
The GG4-A is arranged to accommodate 440 persons in single cabins and up to 600 persons using pullman berths. 200 of the single cabins are located in two temporary quarters modules on the Upper Deck.
Its class notation makes it compliant with the latest regulatory requirements. The design has been Main Scantling Approved by Det Norske Veritas, and has the Class Notation: DNV +1A1 Column Stabilized Accommodation Unit(N) - with additional notations: HELDK, DYNPOS AUTRO, E0.
GG4-WI - Lightweight Semisubmersible DP Class 3 Well Intervention VesselThe GG4-WI DP Class 3 semisubmersible is an advanced, compact and low cost well intervention unit. It can perform riserless or through-riser well intervention operations in water depths down to 3000 metres.
The GG4-WI is arranged with a sophisticated well intervention tower on the upper deck, and has a large clear deck with skidding system for well intervention equipment and tubulars storage. It has below deck twin ROV systems, bulk fluids storage and pumping systems.
A main crane of 360 t capacity provides excellent deck coverage and has a subsea work capability to 3000 m water depth.
Its class notation makes it compliant with the latest regulatory requirements. The design has been Main Scantling Approved by Det Norske Veritas, and has the Class Notation: DNV +1A1 Column Stabilized Unit - with additional notations:
WELL INTERVENTION, HELDK, DYNPOS AUTRO, E0.
GG6 WILD - Semisubmersible DP Class 3 Well Intervention & Light Drilling VesselThe GG6 DP Class 3 semisubmersible is an advanced, compact and low cost well intervention and light drilling unit. It is a derivative of the MSV Stadive design, which has a proven track record as a dynamically positioned unit operating in the North Sea on a year-round basis.
The GG6 is arranged to perform a full range of well intervention services including both riserless and through riser operations. The large clear deck and variable deck load capacity, coupled with integral support equipment and systems, also allow full drilling operations to be performed.
Its class notation makes it compliant with the latest regulatory requirements. The design has been Main Scantling Approved by Det Norske Veritas, and has the Class Notation: DNV +1A1 Column Stabilized Well Intervention Unit(N) - with additional notations: HELDK, DYNPOS AUTRO, POSMOOR, E0.
GG8 - Dynamically Positioned Semisubmersible Unit for Drilling OperationsThe dynamically positioned semisubmersible GG8 is designed to offer owners/operators a versatile and cost effective drilling unit for deep water depths and for worldwide operations. The semisubmersible is primarily characterised by its four inclined centre columns, and the absence of any trusses passing through the air/water interface. The unit can be configured with a variety of differing topsides (drilling) arrangements as specified by the Owner/Operator.
The base case GG8 will be equipped with drilling facilities for 7,500 metres drilling depth operations in water depths down to 2,000 metres using conventional drilling techniques. Such work will be carried out without the deployment of anchors. Developments in slimhole drilling, HP risers and other techniques can extend these operational parameters.
The GG8 is designed to carry a deck load of 4,000 tonnes which, when coupled with column payloads gives almost 5,000 tonnes ”variable deckload” at operating and severe storm draughts. In transit the unit can carry approx. 3,500 tonnes ”variable deck load”. The deck load carrying capacity and the considerable fluid (fuel and drilling fluids) storage allow the vessel to be operated in waters remote from shore base facilities with irregular and low frequency supply boat service.
The design is scantling approved by DNV and has been developed to satisfy the Class Notation: DNV +1A1 Column Stabilised Drilling Unit, with the additional notations: ICE-L, HELDK, CRANE, DYNPOS-AUTRO, E0, F-AM. DRILL
