The process is based on the patented and well-proven MinoxTM process. The process has been in use for offshore applications since 1991 and has now been introduced to the conventional industry with low capacity units.
The MinoxTM process gives small, compact and economical systems, also for this application. The most common industrial application for the conventional industry is Deoxygenation of water in cooling circuits, district heat plants etc.

Tinfos Titan in Tyssedal is successfully using a Minox System for corrosion protection of cooling water.
The Minox DeOx System - Process can be designed for capacities from 1m3/h and upwards. For closed loop circuits the principle is to deoxygenate little by little until the desired oxygen level is achieved. When the oxygen is removed the plant can be stopped and will then run only when needed, i.e. when make-up water is added or if the water circuit has been opened / drained.
The plants can also be built to handle the whole water flow in open circuit systems. Grenland Minox provides expertise on how to achieve the best environment to prevent corrosion problems.
