Both solutions can be integrated in a Multi Intervention Tower®, along with other related equipment such as skidding systems, moonpool systems and personnel access systems. The Multi Intervention Tower® can also be scaled down to provide regular subsea construction services. We can also provide add-on intervention handling systems for existing support structures.

Grenland Group designs and builds module handling towers for subsea well-intervention operations.
The design for the equipment is based on safety for personnel and environment, and for simple and efficient handling of different subsea modules. In addition, the equipment gives easy access for inspection, maintenance and replacement of parts.

General:
The tower is equipped with guide rails for the cursor system, and sheaves for guide wire. Furthermore, the cursor wire and main lift wire are integrated into the tower structure.
The cursor system consists of a framework, running on guides, which are mounted along the internal structure in front of tower, and down into the moonpool. The cursor winch is placed on a dedicated platform mounted in front and near the top of the tower. The guide wire arms are easy to adjust to suit most modules.
The moonpool hatch is divided into three sections, the centre section which contains the deck rails, and 2 side hatches. The control cabin is located adjacent to the side of the tower structure or can be integrated into the support vessel.
