Health, Safety & Environment

Our commitment is to maintain the highest standards of health, safety and environment. Grenland Group is actively engaged in worker and community health initiatives, which are launched where we have offices and/or fabrication sites. We aim to cooperate closely with our clients at their sites and plants when executing our projects.

Grenland Group's goal is zero injuries or illnesses. We strive for an accident-free workplace and an environment where nobody gets hurt.

Education & Research

For many years, Grenland Group has shown a positive attitude towards helping university students to bridge the gap beween theory and practice. Each year, the group hires apprentices in technical disciplines, and the company is also positive to employing graduates in engineering and administration.

Grenland Group has a particularly good and close cooperation with the university colleges in Telemark and Vestfold. The group offers scholarship schemes and project assignments, and also acts as external examiner for exams. At Vestfold
university college, Grenland Group has engaged in the development of special engineering courses, and we use our own resources in the form of grants and own employees in this connection. This initiative is called the VRI project (value creation through regional innovation) and also includes advanced lectures in addition to research and development tasks. The cooperation with the Telemark and Vestfold university colleges is important for Grenland Group. Grenland Group considers it important to be present at the career day at the Norwegian university of science and technology (NTNU) in Trondheim. In particular, representatives from our different engineering disciplines present the job opportunities in the group. Grenland Group is always looking for young and talented chartered engineers.

Art & Culture

Grenland Group seeks to support and enhance local culture and non governmental organisations. Bringing together culture, business and society, these initiatives enable artists and cultural institutions to transform their visions into reality and to actively enhance and develop contemporary art forms.

We support and use concerts, theatrical performance and shows in team building and for social events together with our employees, clients and community.

Sport

Grenland Group supports a diversity of sport activity an clubs in the regions where we are present.

Dialogue with the public

Social responsibility is impossible without dialogue. Therefore, we actively seek to communicate with people and organisations, with whom our company shares a special relationship. We discuss various issues with the general public, political leaders, experts, and interest groups. We can only determine people’s real needs and identify suitable solutions, if we communicate with them. An open dialogue with the society is crucial to good citizenship.
