Tønsberg

The yard in Tønsberg is Grenland Group’s largest production site.

The yard is capable of loading out modules up to 10 000 tonnes. The facilities are tailor-made for fabrication of offshore structures and subsea units. The plant is also very suitable for other large steel and piping fabrication, such as bridges and jackets. There is sufficient space to undertake a number of projects in parallel, e.g. Kvitebjørn drilling modules, Ringhorne wellhead platform and Valhall Flank South were under construction at the same time.

Significant upgrades and extensions have been made to the facilities over the last few years. The extensions include a new office building, a new paint hall and extension and upgrade of the other fabrication halls.
