PetroFlame® burner booms

Our PetroFlame® booms are compatible with all major burner heads and flame arrestors on the market. Furthermore, our booms have been mounted on both new and old vessels by tailored interfaces.

Grenland Group has over the last three decades delivered more than 30 burner booms of various kinds. We can customise a boom to suit the exact specification given by the buyer, or develop a customised specification.

By selecting one of our standard boom designs, price and delivery time can be reduced significantly, compared to having a completely new design engineered and fabricated. Normally, only small adjustments on the rig or the boom are required to utilise a standard boom.

Swan-Neck & Cantilever PetroFlame®

Grenland Group supplies burner booms for semisubmersible drilling rigs, drill ships, jack-ups, and for fixed platform applications.

Main Features:

• Customised standard design
• Fixed or hinged to platform
• Pedestal solution for drill ship installation
• Cooling water curtain (optional)
• Hydraulically operated slewing mechanism (optional)
• Burner head (optional)

Grenland Group also provides supervision during installation, if required.

King Post Mounted PetroFlame®

The King Post Mounted PetroFlame® is customised for jack-ups. The boom can be delivered with pivot rotation (manually or hydraulically) or fixed position. Grenland Group has delivered this type of boom to A.P. Moeller - Maersk Contractors.
